Activists are bearing witness and publicizing the dolphin capture and killing. Over the last 6 weeks, 68 bottlenose dolphins and 1 pilot whale were violently captured and 35 Risso's dolphins and 16 pilot whales were slaughtered. These suuperloud seismic airgun blasting for oil could injure 138,000 whales and dolphins from Delaware to Florida. The blasts go off every 10 seconds 24 hours a day. They threaten the endangered right whale. I first became entranced with whales when I heard that a group of false pilot whales had beached themselves near Vero Beach, FL. My sisters and I drove there from our nearby grandparents, and we pushed them out as incoming wave slifted them up.
