California PUC proposes Stop Solar Power  $ 57 per month connection fee and lower rate paid for rooftop solar.  Utilities don't want competition from rooftop solar.   Florida's legislature just passed out of committee another bill to prevent rooftop solar.  Here is in Colorado and other places, the utility giants claim that it is unfair to minorities and people of color for utilities to pay rooftop solar .  They ignore that lower income and people of color suffer more from climate change and from the siting pollution and waste of the utilities.  The utilities pretend they care -they just want to prevent competition from individuals and businesses installing rooftop PV panels.  They want to own and charge for giant centralized wind, solar, coal and natural gas facilities.
