Global Warming NYT Article Downplays Guilt of Oil Companies
The NYT article blames it on human nature and implies there is no hope. Instead activists say we must hold the oil companies responsible for the misinformation about and denial of global warming. We must organize, hope and care.

Global Warming Bad News in Antarctica
It appears that melted Antartica glacier fresh water is creating a top layer of less dense cold water, preventing the usual sinking of cold dense salt water, which usually stores heat and CO2 deep into the depths of the ocean. The lack of the usual sinking of the dense cold salt water may weaken ocean currents too, as seems to be happening in the northern hemisphere off of Greenland and Iceland.

Speech & Book on Youth Using Music, Dance, & Theater to Enliven Protests
There is a talk tonight by Beth Osnes about her book Performance for Resilience: Engaging Youth through Movement, Music and Theatre at the Boulder Bookstore, 1107 pearl, free 7:30 pm 1-25-18. She said the joy of children and youth comes thru and energizes protests. Their play/performance piece "Shine" about global warming has been performed all over the world.
