Detroit Shut Off Water to 40,000, but Chrysler & Marathon Get Deals
Chrysler owes the water dept. $21 million in back payments, and their water was not turned off. Marathon Refinery got $ 175 million in tax breaks (partly to do the water intensive refining of toxic tar sands oil). LINK

Women's Peace Movement-Play and Posters
A play about the women's peace movement 9-24-15 at 4:30 pm plus an exhibit about the movement from 3-4pm. Local members of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom nudged me to protest at the Nevada Nuclear Test site and at the Rocky Flats Nuclear Weapons Plant. It was fun to protest with goodhearted people, who believed it what they were doing.
