Saving Forests is the Most Important Action for Preventing Climate Change

Existing and older forests are taking the most carbon out of the air and storing it in wood and in the soil.  But wetland hardwood forests are being clearcut to make wood pellets to burn for electricity.  This is falsely called "carbon-neutral" and "renewable" and given tax subsidies and a camouflage of providing jobs.  The wetland, hardwood forests in the SE US are being clearcut to make wood pellets. . We lose biodiversity, as these forests are full of species.
