Katie Christiansen

Katie Shepherd Christiansen is an artist, writer, conservationist, and mother. She seeks to deepen humanity's awareness and understanding of the natural world and one’s self, as a foundation to shifting the human-nature relationship. Katie is Executive Director of the Northern Rockies Conservation Cooperative, editor and illustrator of The Artist’s Field Guide to Yellowstone (2021), and is known for her iconic, award-winning interpretive nature installations that meld sophisticated design with her art and prose.
