| Water is life! All livings things on earth require water. But the supply of potable water in the world is decreasing at an alarming rate. Agricultural, industrial and military pollution continues to contaminate one aquifer after another. Also, wastes of many sorts are often disposed of by dumping them into water. The end result is an ever shrinking supply of drinking water that has concerned scientists around the world. There is a fixed amount of water on planet earth and there is no way to increase this amount. This design by artist Ruben Saufkie reminds us that caring for earth’s water supply is of paramount importance to all life on earth. |
