| Dan Oakleaf's graceful Tern, the long distance flyer, reflects the color of the oceans he travels. The Arctic Tern flies the farthest yearly migratory journey of any bird alive. The bird will summer in the arctic and then fly off to “winter” just off of Antarctica during the Antarctic summer. This is a journey of some 20,000 to 25,000 miles. |
