Iraq War is to keep oil prices high and under US control thru Saudi control of OPEC

Greg Palast writes in his new book, Armed Madhouse: Who's Afraid of Osama Wolf?, China Floats Bush Sinks, the Scheme to Steal '08, No Child's Behind Left and other Dispatches from the Front Lines of the Class War, that the US oil companies and the Bush /Cheney junta invaded Iraq because Iraq’s sales of oil were destabilizing the price of oil and evading the Saudi control through OPEC, which used the huge cheap oil supplies of the Saudis to threaten to undersell and displace any country that tried to produce more oil or sell it at a lower price or to not recycle the profits back into the US banks and weapons companies. www.gregpalast.com
